I want to create my own synthwave music scenes, where to start?

Hey Heroes,

I'm a huge fan of the synthwave scene, and it just hit me that I wanted to play an instrument. I looked all over the place to see which is right for me, and then I realise that I could potentially make a lot of music already with the electronics I have!

I own a macbook pro, and a ipad pro. I thought that I could use these two as my advantage to start in the scene.

Any of you guys know what apps I should be using etc? Where should I begin! I am so excited.
