I was incredibly disheartened to hear of Florida Skyline's passing a couple of months ago. I'm now wondering, who owns the rights to her music? Does it just enter the public domain, or does Midwest Collective technically hold the rights? I ask for two reasons:
1.) Least importantly, I might be making a mini-documentary about a mall in the near future, and I would like to use a piece of her music (Blueberry) in her memory.
2.) Who would be capable of doing a run of her music on cassette, vinyl, or any other medium? I think it would be awesome to honor her by releasing something like a two-tape collection of all of her music. It's truly incredible—full of emotion and, in my opinion, unforgettable.
