Two Questions: One about lighter sounding synthwave for tabletop RPG ambiance, and another about video game soundtracks...

I'm new to the Synthwave scene, so my knowledge of established artists and styles/subgenres are very limited. I would like to ask two quick questions.

  1. I'm going to be running a Shadowrun (a cyberpunk tabletop RPG for those who don't know) campaign this summer, and I've been curating a "playlist". The playlist is actually about 12 folders large, and each folder is dedicated to certain types of situations. I've got a folder for stealth (quiet songs, staccato-like), combat (faster beats, heavier base), car-chases (very rapid beats, simulating vehicle speed), scary boss fights (very heavy base, meant to instill uncertainty in the player), ect. My problem is my least filled folder is the "general" folder, meant to be played for long periods of time while players roleplay at bars, hang out at the base, or plan missions.
I'm looking for artists who have instrumental tracks or albums that are of a moderate tempo, with some bass, but nothing overpowering (two bassy and it gets oppressive, too fast and it gets frenetic).
For example, I've got a ton of Perturbator music for the scary fights or for alien bug-nests, some real dark and terrifying stuff, but I'm looking for something lighter. Someone like 3Force is good, but it's still a bit too heavy for "general" situations. I have some Scandroid, he's great for what I'm looking for, but I need more than just him.
What can you recommend as lighter sounding instrumental synth?

  2. Also, the Steam soundtrack sale is currently going on right now, and I'm looking for good Synthwave soundtracks. Any suggestions? It's only going on for another 18 hours or so, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Enter the Gungeon's soundtrack seems neat...

Please be aware, I am BUYING all of my music for my Shadowrun playlist, I'm not asking for pirating ideas. Also, I primarily use Google Play for all of my purchases, so that's my primary outlet, but I'm not above bandcamp or other legitimate means.
