About a year and a half ago, I was introduced to synthwave by a friend of mine. While I was aware of the existence of some artists thanks to the "Drive" soundtrack, I am now enamored with this genre. I think that it's great aesthetic music that is perfect for soundtracks.
Speaking of which, it seems that there has been a major 80s revival over the last decade (i.e., the "It" movies and "Stranger Things." It is so prevalent in pop culture that artists outside the genre are incorporating retro elements into their music. A good example of this would be Daft Punk's soundtrack to the 2010 movie "Tron: Legacy."

While Daft Punk has been incorporating retro elements into their music since their inception, I felt that their soundtrack to that particular movie has an obvious 1980s feel to it (which is fitting since the first "Tron" movie is considered to be a cult classic of that particular era). In my opinion, the album would not be too out of place with artists such as Perturbator, Gunship, and the Midnight amongst others.
Which leads to my point, what are some other songs/albums by non-synthwave artists that have a synthwave feel to it? I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
