As a child of the 80's, I've been trying to think of movies and TV show that actually inspired, influenced, or used the outrun-style music that we all know and love. I know when I listen to Retrowave etc, I am usually reminded of like training montages or car chases, but I can't for the life of me think of any specific movies or scenes.
You know, while we're thinking about it, does anyone know of real BANDS that sounded like Retrowave/Outrun in the 80's?
