I compete in sim racing and have started a new series that is streamed on YouTube which means there are copyright issues for my usual liveries so I need to create a new one.
I'd like to go with the Outrun aesthetic but am really having trouble coming up with a design due to the shape of the car. It's a Formula Skip Barber which has the open-wheel racecar shape and looks like this with the paintable area including all except the wings. Most go for replica things but I'm more into something like this.
I think the sportscars are easier to do with the larger surface area - throw a sunset on the bonnet and/or converging grid lines on the roof for example, but I can't think of how to do something cool on this. A sunset behind the front number? A grid horizon all around the sides?
Can anyone suggest something?
