During long nights at University, I used to listen to this absolutely stellar Spotify playlist created by a profile user 'FatMagic': https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6racPbwQKS4NO1hRHTPxd8?si=-vd2aR-3QBWY_IMaCkdNAg
I return to this playlist regularly and I have since noticed that a track that usually pops up hasn't and I'm worried it's lost forever. Spotify has no messaging system so I can't just message FatMagic.
The total playtime of the playlist fluctuates often, so I know songs are being added and removed regularly. I'm aware that this could be a mammoth task, since the playlist currently has over 100 hours of music.
Please bare with me because my memory of the song is hazy but here is what I do remember:
The song contained vocal clips of an evil villain monologue about how he will bring eternal darkness / extinction. Perhaps something about blocking out the sun. He has a monolouge in the beginning and he comes back every so often as the song progresses. It's a fairly theatrical sounding villain - big booming male voice - in his 50s/60s. Maybe British, or just theatrical American.
At one point, an adult female can be heard screaming "NO!" in response to the villain, before the synths kick in again.
I think by the end of the song, the villain says something like "We have underestimated the humans."
I cannot tell if the vocal clips were from a real TV Show/Film/Video Game or they were recorded specifically for the track.
I don't know the artist. I have raided my liked songs and it's not there.
Please help r/outrun! I will greatly appreciate it!
